Project Background

This photovoltaic power generation project in Hubei Province is a successful example of integrating agriculture with renewable energy, combining a PV system with fish farming to optimize land use. The photovoltaic (PV) system converts sunlight into electricity, but it has limitations, such as intermittency, volatility, and a mismatch between energy generation and consumption.

To solve these problems, Vision offered a centralized ESS solution for the PV power generation system, significantly enhancing its functionality by addressing intermittency, improving efficiency and grid stability, and optimizing energy usage.

The 50 MW/100 MWh energy storage station covers approximately 12.6 acres. Project Outcomes

The project successfully addressed grid instability caused by the unpredictability of new energy generation, providing a more stable and reliable energy supply. By combining energy storage and generation systems, it produces over 260,000 MWh of renewable energy each year, boosting the region's renewable energy capacity.

In addition, the project eased local electricity supply pressures and met rising energy demands. It also helped reduce local energy consumption, supporting a more sustainable energy future.

Moreover, the project's environmental impact is significant, cutting 21.19 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually and contributing to global efforts to fight climate change and promote cleaner energy.
